- The Round is a literary magazine based at Brown University. We accept submissions of prose, poetry, and visual art from a wide variety of genres. We also publish an array of writers, from students to already established writers. A round is an ongoing musical conversation that draws on and responds to the voices that have come before it. The Round aims to renew this conversation in literature. By remembering the relationship between reader and writer, we may restore reverence for the written word. To be new does not require an edge; new voices can be part of The Round. To be inclusive is to reflect the dimensional fullness of our name.
